Benedict House and Shop
located at 57 Rockwell Road in Ridgefield, CT, this building was constructed in 1740. This building was one of the oldest surviving structures in the community, a rare example of a cobbler’s workshop back in the 19th century. It was also listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 4, 1998.
Weir Farm National Historical Park

The house has maintained its original layout and features over the years after it was built about 1735. Thomas Hyatt House was considered one of the city’s oldest and most well-preserved houses.
